Hi everyone! Just thought I’d share a couple of LO’s. If you follow my OTHER TWO blogs, you will have already seen them, but here they are all the same

First one is the LO for the latest challenge over at Challenge Me Happy, a recipe challenge. Love these photos of my handsome man, and he truly anchors me when I’m needing a bit of stability…

Love this range from GLITZ, and it suits the theme perfectly!

 

 

 

 

Then a LO with a funny edge – with the June kit from Crazy Monday Kits - Swaggerlicious. I convinced my daughters to to a photo shoot with paper mustaches Such a scrapbooking mum thing to do! But I LOVE the result, and we all had fun!

 

Here is Tova, and the journaling explains how she embraced the mustache perfectly, pretending to be a French chef!!

Just a quick post, sharing my LO for the lastest WORD challenge over at Challenge Me Happy! The word is WATER, and I had a million photos that I could have chosen for this, but I chose one of my favourite photos from our family photo shoot with Hannah in January. Just LOVE this shot!

Again, I have used AMAZING paper & embellies from Crate Paper. This time it’s mostly the Maggie Holmes collection. Hope you enjoy, and come and show us YOUR take on this challenge over at the Challenge Me Happy blog!

Challenge LO’s

(Inter)National Scrapbooking day took place on 4th of May, and lots of manufacturers, shops and blogs had challenges and competitions going on. We even did some over on the Challenge Me Happy facebook page!

I didn’t really get time to scrap that weekend, but had some me-time this weekend just past. Over at Studio Calico the challenges closed yesterday, so I had some time to enter a few of the challenges. Here are my two favourite LO’s from what I made Hope you like!!

But first – a little happy squeel for me! The LO from my previous post was highlighted as one of the challenge favourites on the Crate Paper blog. I’m stoked. So proud. Can’t help it!

And then, some sharing. First up is two LO’s that I created for Scrappin’ Patch. For the first one I have used Crate Paper “True Friends”, and for the second one I have used that line together with MME “Collectable”. Other little odds and ends too as you will see

This next LO went up on the Crazy Monday Kit blog today, it’s made with the lovely May kit.

I love Crate Paper

You might know this already. I really do have a love for everything Crate Paper. I think I have bought something from each line they have ever got out. Call me a creepy stalker, but there’s the truth for you.

I have never ever played along with their challenges before though, but LO AND BEHOLD I have now! Here’s a LO for their latest challenge. The challenge was to scrap in one chosen colour scheme, and also to collage on your page. I wasn’t sure about the whole collage thing, but I LOVE how my LO came out. Most of the products here are from the DIY line or the Maggie Holmes collection. And with a model like that on the photo, you can’t really fail

Post 300 means a giveaway!

I promised a giveaway in my last post, didn’t I? And I keep my promises – always! But first – a couple of LO’s!

More retreat shares

So I’ve got another couple of LO’s to share that I cooked last weekend. First another LO with the Crate Paper DYI line. I really love that line! A photo of me and Michelle from maybe 18 months ago? Michelle has grown to be a very close friend since 2-3 years back, and there are n0t many aspects of our lives that we don’t ‘share with each other. We jokingly say we talk to each other more that we talk to our husbands… and to be honest it’s probably true! So here’s a LO to celebrate our friendship and the fact that we are “like peas and carrots”.

Then a LO of my friends little boy who has a special place in my heart. I’ve gone back to the Crazy Monday January 2013 kit on this one, great for boy LO’s I think!

I’ve added some masking, Glitz Design washi tape & bling, some MME enamel dots (looooove) & buttons, AC thickers, misc tags & a Maggie Holmes peg. Mini alphas & the word “awesome” is from the Fancy Pants sticker sheet in the Crazy Monday October 2012 kit!

Hello there!

After having a drought in scrapping, I had three days of creating in Christchurch in the weekend! It was AMAZING in so many ways… Hanging out with friends close to my heart, and meeting new friends. Getting food cooked and cleaned away, and not having to deal with tantrums every 10 minutes. Well. Not from my children anyway

Jokes aside, it was a wonderful retreat arranged by Adrienne from Scrappin’ Patch, and I have to say the chances of me going back for the next one in September are very high!

I got a whole lot of LO’s done, and considering I thought I’d get 2-3 LO’s done I am stoked. Some of them are for upcoming Challenge Me Happy challenges, or for Crazy Monday Kits so I can’t show them, but some was JUST BECAUSE so I can share!!

I have always been a huge Crate Paper fan, and their latest lines has not disappointed me. So. This LO is with the very cool DIY line. I am embarassingly proud of myself for the photo in this LO, snapped as Tova looks up to me after getting an award at the end of term assembly last year. And I think the DIY line works perfectly with the photo. So I’m happy! Some sewing, a few veneers and even washi tape (I normally just buy them and never really use them) – LO done.

I’d also like to share a LO for Crazy Monday Kits that went up on the blog today. Everything on the LO is from the kit, apart from the gold mist I have sprayed the 2Crafty chipboard filmstrips with.
