2016 Favourite Project Life Spreads

Well, I’m back – with another favourites post!

I was so lucky to be on the Becky Higgins Project Life CT this year, using her physical product. I also had a few kits (cough cough) of my own beforehand, and it’s been great to be pushed with deadlines to actually get those pages done!!

I am still way behind but am not stressed about it. Photos and memories are there, just need to get them in the album!

2016 Favourite LO’s

Wow. It’s not been a great blogging year for me! Not overly creative either I have to admit, but I am aiming to change all that in 2017! I have had 2 huge commitments in 2016, that I have absolutely loved  – Becky Higgins Project Life, & Cocoa Vanilla Studio. I was also on the Creative Scrappers team for four months this year. I feel very privileged to be part of such fabulous teams! But with December they all end, and I get to look back on creations that I will treasure forever, and hopefully my kids will too!

What will keep me busy in 2017 you ask? Well, I am catching up on Project Life. I am behind, as I simply did weeks with photos that inspired me this year. But it will be fun, I can’t wait for some TIME to sit down and get back into it. I also have a new thing happening next year. More about that when I am allowed to share!

So. Like I said above, I haven’t been very good at blogging this year. But I’d like to share my fav LO’s for 2016 nevertheless. I’d also like to share my favourite Project Life spreads this year, stay tuned for that post in a few days!

So without further ado, here are my 10 favourite LO’s from 2016 – in no particular order 🙂. (It’s pretty Cocoa Vanilla Studio heavy, for obvious reasons!!) Thanks for checking in today, it’ll be interesting to see if there are any readers left, after my very sparse blogging this past year!

…life is busy! Didn’t realise it’s been almost two months since my last blog post. I am posting on Instagram and Facebook, but the blogs seems to be forgotten.

Hello crafty new year!

Hi everyone! Wow – first blog post of the year and it’s almost the end of January! I guess I better prepare myself for another year of bad blogging ha ha! If you don’t follow me on INSTAGRAM already – please do. I share much more often over there!

Well, the biggest news that I had to keep to myself for over a month was revealed at the end of last year – I am one of the LUCKY LUCKY ladies in Becky Higgins Project Life Creative Team for 2016! Such a buzz – a total surprise that I don’t think I’m over yet!

There has already been a few shares on the blog, and I’d like to share them here today together with a few additional pages!

First – my cover page for 2015 – yes I am still on 2015. I’ve only just started March in fact. Am I stressed? Nope. This is not a stressful project. It’s an ongoing documentation of our daily lives that will have to take as long as it does. I am still taking photos and writing notes about each week, so I will be fine. Feels good! I admit that I have just started working on my 2016 cover page though, because it is FUN!!!

If you’ve seen any of my previous PL pages, you will notice that I have simplified things. And it feels GOOD! I don’t think I will ever be a person who has NO embellishment in my pockets, but it’s definitely less than when I first started!!

The next project I’d like to share has just gone up on the blog. It’s something I did for for my Tova – I’m in the process of making another one for Elsa as well. A little box of notes, written on PL cards, telling them a few (big & small) reasons why I love them. For who they are, and what they do. And for how they make my life complete.

I loved making this project, and there are so MANY perfect PL cards that can be used!!

OK, so that’s PL. I am still scrapping as well, of course! Mainly for Cocoa Vanilla Studio. Zoe keeps coming out with amazing collections, she blows my mind. I have loved EVERY SINGLE ONE of them!

The two LO’s below are created with the amazing “Hello Sunshine” collection. Such fabulous colours, and an abundance of fun embellishments to choose from. And you know that means heaven to me ha ha! This collection is just perfect for us in the Southern Hemisphere where we are blessed with a long summer!!

Now I should probably stop here, but who knows when I get around to blogging next – so I will share another two LO’s with you! I hopped along with a couple of challenges on FB, and got out two older Clique Kit kits to play with. Here is the result:

2015 Favourite LO’s

Dear blog readers. Thank you for sticking with me this year. Very appreciated! I have some exciting news to share in a few days, but til then – I decided to do my usual “end of year wrap up post”, sharing my favourite project of the year. It’s been a good year, but I have scrapped less than previously. I also kept on with Project Life though, and sure I’m behind but I am DOING it. And I am LOVING the simplicity of it. To be fair the family prefers looking in my Project Life album to my LO albums, but I enjoy scrapping LO’s and will always do both. I think! Anyhoo…

Christmas Time

Hi everyone!

Hope you’ve had a great Christmas, and that you’ve had a bit of a break. I am thoroughly enjoying the NZ sun and some family down time!

I’m sharing a Christmas LO today! I just had to scrap our “yearly Christmas photo” straight away – and what better collection to use than “Tis the Season” from Cocoa Vanilla Studio!

Just love this collection. And I am NOT a Christmas scrapper! I’m a well known GRINCH when it comes to Christmas scrapping!

Well, anyway. Thanks for stopping by. I will try and get another blog post done before 2016 – it’s time for the traditional “FAVOURITE LO’s OF THE YEAR” post, isn’t it!!

Oh where does time go?

Dear blog readers, I apologise! It’s been way too long since I updated here! I have been VERY busy, and it’s been great. Not imagining it will slow down any time soon, seeing as it’s December and all!!

So what have I been up to? In my personal life, October and November was VERY busy with kids and school – AND I starred in a musical! I was the Fairy Godmother in “Cinderella”! It was so much fun! An amazing experience! I haven’t done something like that in 20 or so years, so it was simply fabulous. And the Fairy Godmother is a fantastic role to play!

Looking forward to scrap a photo or two from that experience soon!

In my scrappy life – Sketchabilities finished, Karan decided to close the site. And – I stepped down from Clique Kits. It was an outstanding experience to deal with Social Media with a growing Kit Club, but it turned out it wasn’t for me. I will still be a subscriber, because their kits are fabulous, but I won’t be part of the Leadership Team anymore.

Since I blogged last, I have been scrapping a little, not as much as I wanted – but here is what I have done:
