Putting myself out there

So… I’ve taken the plunge, and I’ve sent my application in for an AMAZING scrapbooking company. One of my all time favourites: LILY BEE! The only problem I have with their products is that they’re really hard to find in NZ!!!

Anyway – the Lily Bee stuff I DO have is all from kits that I’ve bought from overseas, and I’d like to share what I have created with them. Some are new, some are old stuff that I have shown before. I just wanted to dedicate this post to Lily Bee. Just quietly saying PICK ME PICK ME PICK ME!

Beyond the page

In the last few months, I have not only been creating LO’s, I’ve also done a couple of  “beyond the page” things. This is really out of my comfort zone, but I thought I’d share it anyway…

First a name banner that I made for Elsa’s birthday. You know I LOOOOOVE banners! It was for the Allt Om Scrap ezine, using Magistical Memories Chipboard, Fancy Pants papers, Webster’s bloomers & some other odds and ends.

Then, I’d like to show you my version of the many birdhouses that can be found in the scrappy online world. I did one with MLS papers a while ago, and one with my latest Molly’s Scrapbooking kit!

I think that’s enought photos for one post… 🙂 I have a few LO’s to share, but will save them for another day! Thanks for stopping by!!!

A little bit of this, and a little bit of that…

 Great title to this blog post, I know. Should copyright it… 😉

Aaaaanyway – I have a couple of LO’s to share today. First out, a LO based on a Pencil Lines sketch that was in the latest Allt om Scrap ezine. The theme this time was stars/space – and she is a star my Tova!!!

 Products used: Echo Park “Little Boy” pp’s, October Afternoon pp’s, misc tags & buttons, BG & AC alphas, Fiskars border & star punch, baker’s twine. Have also used a spellbinders die, a Tim Holtz die and my sewing machine!

Then, since I bought some of the new Prima from Scottie Crafts last time I was in, I decided to try the Prima BAP for the first time! Aaaaaall Prima on this LO, plus a couple of misc doilies! Oh – and that ribbon is another brand as well…

 

I’m totally in LOVE with the flocked rub-ons!!!

If you’re out in Greenlane at the Craft Fair this weekend – please stop by Scottie Craft’s stall and say hi! I will be there on the Saturday doing a demo, a couple of the other lovely designers will be there the other days doing some demos too!! Hope to see some of you there!

Colour, colour, colour…

Let me share some more colourful LO’s with you! First a page for Scottie Crafts, using the lovely Sassafras Lass “crush” collection. Added some flowers and other embellies from the shop, plus some tags, twine and alphas from my own little stash!

Then, my THIRD LO for Mollys Scrapbooking! That kit just keeps on giving! This time I added some corrugated cardboard, AND some corrugated letters from Jillibean soup! I also played with some Prima swirly masks & inks. Can you see??

I’ve got one more thing coming out of this kit so far, stay tuned…

But before I reveal who the lucky lady is, I’ll share some creativity with you! First out is a LO for Molly’s Scrapbooking. Love love love the colours in this kit! I also got the add-on this month, lucky me!!

Then, a LO that is in last Sunday’s Allt om Scrap ezine. The theme this week was to “create freely”. I played with lovely October Afternoon products on this LO, which is about Tova’s first day back at pre-school this year. It’s not the best photo, but it’s a memory I want to preserve!

Summer treat!

As heavy rain is the flavour of the day, I think I have to accept autumn is coming… It’s still quite warm, but I suspect that won’t last for much longer. So, looking back on summer memories is the right thing to do, don’t you think?

Hello cyberfriends!

I am sooooooooooo happy!!! I’ve known for a LONG time but haven’t been able to share until NOW: I am one of the new designer’s for the Swedish scrapbooking kit club “Molly’s Scrapbooking“! It’s a FANTASTIC kit club who offers both colourful and shabby chic kits every month! You can find my presentation here (in Swedish).

This month I got to play with the colourful kit. So incredibly YUMMY! Here’s my first LO:
