A boy page!

Believe it or not, I have done a boy page! My friend had a baby a few months ago, and I hace scrapped her little boy for Hannah’s colour challenge over at Scrappin’ Patch:

Products used: BG basics pp, MME papers & embellies, Tattered Angels glimmermist, Tim Holtz metal decos, Twiddleybitz chipboard, Zva Creative flowers & brads, BG alphas, AC thickers & Webster’s alphas & lace.

Then a LO “just because”. Doesn’t happen often! It’s quite simple, the products just makes this page pretty anyway I think. Oh – and my gorgeous Tova of course…

Products used: Webster’s Pages pp’s, lace & bloomers, Zva Creative bling & pearl swirls, & misc doilies.

Then, last but not least, a LO that I made over a year ago but I still LOVE it. It was for my Up2Scrap application. My term there is now over and I will share some of my projects I made for them here on the blog now and then.

Products used: Bo Bunny pp’s and embellies, Magistical Memories chipboard branch, Prima flowers, leaves & bling, Zva Creative flowers, misc pins, BG alphas.

Life

Life is busy, but life is good. Work is busy, but good. We’ve had a few bumps at home, with the girls getting chicken pox (at different times of course) or the flu or head lice. So. Yeah. Life. But as kids are, they just roll with it, and do the best they can. And that’s what I’m trying to do as well with life. The best I can.

So – a LO with that title is what I’m about to share. The LO is inspired by a sketch from a very talented Swedish scrapper; Marie. She made it for the kit club “little yellow house kits“, owned by another Marie, who is on the Allt om Scrap ezine DT with me. The sketch competition is for a guest DT spot, and would love to have a go at that. So, here’s my take on the sketch. Please excuse the bad photo, I always struggle getting good photos of LO’s with overlays! And, please note that Elsa has stepped on the LO. Twice. It’s all about her at the moment, she NEEDS to be in every photo!

Short and sweet

Hi peeps! Thanks for visiting today, I’m sure you think I have fallen of the face of the earth… But no, life is just busy busy busy…

So, a quick share of my latest creations!

First, a LO made with Trina’s sketch as base:

Products used: Bazzill kraft cs, October Afternoon papers, alphas & embellies, Jillibean Soup embellies, misc fabric, Fiskars border punch & a pen.

Then, a LO for Magistical Memories:

Products used: October Afternoon pp’s, alphas & embellies, GCD paper strip, AC bloomer ribbon & alphas, baker’s twine, Jenni Bowlin butterfly, pearlmaker. The Magistical Memories nested circles are painted with Tim Holtz crackle paint.

This next LO was created for a recipe challenge in the Allt om Scrap ezine:

Products used: Echo Park papers & embellies, October Afternoon embellies, acrylic pait, BG buttons, misc stamps & tags, MLS & AC alphas, Hambly overlay, and a bit of sewing.

Lastly, the simplest page I have done all year I think, for a word challenge over at Scrappin’ Patch:

Products used: Black Bazzill cs, BG papers & alphas, 7Gypsies tape, Prima flower, white pen & Marhta Stewart border punch.
