Sad farewell

When I decided to start my own kit club; Crazy Monday Scrapbooking Kits I had to say farewell to Mollys Scrapbooking. It was a really hard thing for me to do, because the owner Lilo and the other DT girls are an amazing bunch, and Lilo has given so generously both in products and in friendship. She is one fab lady, and I will miss her very much.

A little while ago I shared my last LO over on the blog, and here it is for you as well. Using Studio Calico, and a few other things from the shop.

 

I will miss you – Mollys Scrapbooking!! But… If you are a follower of the Crazy Monday Scrapbooking Kits blog, maybe you’ll see a collaboration between the two of us in the future…

And of course – I am elated & excited about my own business! And it’s going suprisingly well!! The subs are sold out, and I even have a waiting list. So might be able to add some more subs soon!

While waiting for the products for the October kit, I have been creating with my September kit; “Teal Your Story”. I’m in love with this colour scheme. So fresh and vibrant! Here are my latest two LO’s with the kit:

A big shout out to Adrienne from Scrappin’ Patch who has helped me a lot behind the scenes, and also to Lilo from Mollys & Marie from Little Yellow House kits who has given me a lot of pointers in my process of this.

Starting this company with some help from people in the same boat as me has taught me that the scrapbooking world is not all about competition and money. Friendship and other people’s success is worth a WHOLE lot!

So as you can imagine, a lot of my time has revolved around this adventure. Haven’t scrapped as much as I would have liked, but Mr Mojo being holiday has also played a big part in that!

I have however done some stuff, and I’d like to share those!

I’ve done quite a lot lately. Especially considering the fact that crafting actually makes me really sore, and I should probably not do much… But it’s MY way of relaxing, and I know I’m preaching to the choir here…

Hope you are doing well, wherever you are in the world. I am still struggling with shoulder pain, but have met a specialist that seem to be committed to helping me!

In other news, I have been selected to be on the FIRST EVER DT for a NEW company; Kite Tails Designs! I am so honoured and EXCITED about this, and can’t WAIT for the first box of goodies to turn up!

Bad news – my camera seem to be broken. My beautiful CANON is not doing what it supposed to do, and I will have to send it away next week. I feel slightly nauseaus and panicky about this, but hope they can fix the problem – QUICK!

A couple of LO’s, some cards and a winner!

Hope you have all had a fabulous Christmas, wherever or however you have celebrated! Me, my DH & my two girls are having a nice quiet time together, and that’s just how I like it!

 

I’d like to share a couple of my latest LO’s, and at the bottom of the post there will be a winner for my NOOK calendar RAK!

 

First – two LO’s that I did for Mollys scrapbooking. I always get so much fun products from her, and this time was no exeption. A box full of Crate Paper & Studio Calico goodness, what else could a girl wish for?

 

 

Liking the misting and masking lately…

 

A LO JUST FOR ME – that doesn’t happen very often – using MME papers & embellies. I just LOVE MME, but you know that already! 🙂

 

 

Then, my latest cards – I’m kinda liking how they came out… I managed to get in the top three in the Nook competition, and I’m mighty proud of myself for doing that. The ever so talanted Anabelle took the top spot, and I don’t think anyone was surprised by that. She is one amazing lady!

Easter?

I’ve had a few very crafty days. Thursday saw me enjoying two Prima classes, taught bt Cari Fennel & Sharon Lakkonen. I managed to finish two minialbums, who will be perfect as Christmas presents I think…

 

Then, I enjoyed a weekend away with a few other scrappy girlfriends. One of them came all the way from Invercargill!! 🙂

 

So – I got a few things to share, but most of what I did can’t be share straight away. You know the deal… 🙂 But here we go!

 

Never have I combined Cosmo Cricket papers with big, bold flowers – but in the LO below I did. The material including the lovely Manorhouse flowers all comes from Mollys, and the LO is based from the October sketch over at Manorhouse. AND – the title says Easter. It’s Elsa enjoying a rather large chocolate Easter bunny…
