My Man

Posted by swewi on October 31, 2011

For the first time in a while I’ve had some scrap flow. This weekend I had little to no time, but sill managed to get two LO’s, one card and one altered note book done. Felt great! Long may it continue (’til Sunday anyway…)!

One of the LO’s was for a Studio Calico sketch challenge. I’ve missed doing them, and I have loads of Studio Calico kit material to use up! Here it is – with my darling DH in focus:

Come back tomorrow for more reveals – please?

Another LO

Just quickly, another LO that I really love at the moment. I got Pink Paislee “Nantucket” papers to play with from Mollys, and this is what I did with them:

Close ups:

Also loving that Prima mask at the moment…

Got a lot of new goodies to play with, so better get back to my scrap studio!

Sketch of the week

Posted by swewi on October 19, 2011

There’s an awesome Swedish site called “Veckans Skiss” – “sketch of the week”, where I always find a lot of inspiration. This week you can be inspired by MY sketch!! Very exciting!

This is the LO I did from the sketch, using Crate Paper “Random collection”. I have to say it’s one of my new fav’s!!

What are you up to this week?

Have you seen the MASTERCARD ads? The punchline is always “something something something… priceless…”. That’s what I had in my head whilst creating this LO about Tova finally getting to hang out with her favourite aunt who lives in England. It’s my latest LO for Challenge Me Happy, and I’ve used mainly HALO goodies on there!

And can you believe the Christmas card I shared in my last post won me a prize over at Fancy Pants? I sure can’t! Amazing… Because of that I’ll share a simple card I made for Molly’s recently, using Pink Paislee papers & a lovely Manorhouse Creations flower.

So, that’s it for today. More to come SOON. Some of my fav’s STILL waiting to be shared! LOL

And – go the All Blacks! 😉

Cosmo Cricket

In my latest box form Mollys there was sooooooo many goodies! I made two LO’s pretty much straight away, and today I can share one of them as it’s up on the blog. Her shop is filled to the brim with amazing product, so go there and shop if you haven’t already!

Some detail shots – I looooove the little mini spools from Maya Road!

I like the colours in this collection, especially when my photos wasn’t the best – but the occasion needed to be scrapped!

More LO’s to come soon, thanks for stopping by today!

Round up

Posted by swewi on October 8, 2011

I have been planning to blog all week, but I have been busy busy busy so it hasn’t happened. The fact that my flu came back as well wasn’t helping either! I’m so over flu season – bring on summer!!!

So. I won’t waste time on chit chat. Here’s what I have been creating lately. I have some more stuff to show as well, but can’t share until it has gone up on particular blogs!

For the latest Challenge Me Happy challenge – use stamps! And remember we have a DT call over there!

Cards. I never make cards – but lately I’ve made a few! Here are two for Halo:

Two cards for World Card Making Day, first one for Fancy Pants, second for Pink Paislee. Both using older papers. 🙂

Found a photo of a card I made for a friend a little while back as well, might as well share…

A couple of birthday cards using Echo Park:

I hope you have all survived this array of cards! I have made more actually, but will spare you!

Enjoy your weekend, will be back as soon as I can with a couple of my latest FAVOURITE LO’s!
