Time to reveal my LO for the second challenge @ Pyssel Passion.
The criteria this week was to use the theme “90-ies/girlpower/boyband”, use lace cardstock (I really went out of my way to get some of that…), patterned pp with flowers, dots and squares, layers, zig zag & bling.
The two awesome ladies in this photo with me are my STARS! I love them to bits…
Now, a couple of days after this challenge was posted, they posted a BONUS challenge! Very exciting… The only criteria was to use stars in some form. I just learnt that I picked up a shared second place for this, very cool!!! The LO is about Tova’s first attempt at SINGSTAR, during our visit in Sweden.
Really looking forward to see what next challenge is going to be. I looooooooooooove challenges!!!
Before I go I’d like to point you in the direction of The Sketchbook blog. I posted a gallery favourite of mine on there yesterday. Go have a look!!!
Have a great weekend everyone!!

Yep. That’s right. I am totally having Mr Mojo on my shoulder. It feels fantastic!!! I create and I like what I do. Awesome…
Here are two of my latest LO’s that I am really happy with!
I like how the colours came together on this one, and aren’t the little elephants so cute?!?!?
And this photo of Tova… I could scrap it a millions times more I think… This time I have put the photo on a piece of chipboard, and then on 3D cushions. Hard to see, but it looks cool IRL. 🙂 And how about those Prima flowers, beautiful aye?
Anyway… It’s a good feeling to feel creative, and it will hopefully be like this for a looooooong time…

Remember the little sneak peak I had on here a little while ago? Well, I’ve finished that project… It’s a minialbum, but it turned out to be a huge job. 16 pages!!! That’s OK… I loved working with it, and I love how it came together!!
The album is for my sister who lived here in NZ during most of 2007. She and Tova really got a special bond during that time, and I wanted to make something for my sister to remember all those moments… She has been sick a lot lately, and hopefully this will cheer her up! (click on the image to see it bigger)
Got some other finished stuff too, but will show that another day!

So I’ve entered a competition on a Swedish blog; Pyssel Passion. I’m not expecting to get anywhere, as that country is FULL of amazing scrappers, but it’s always cool to get your creative juices flowing by competing, don’t you think? I am a self confessed challenge junkie, so this is great for me!
The first week’s challenge was to tell a story about something important/life changing that have happend to you in the last 5 years. Also, you were to use 5 (no more, no less) papers on your LO. You also have the opportunity to collect extra points every week. Most of the extra points, you get by using Pyssel Passion’s own products, so I’m not going to be able to do that. BUT, this week you could collect some bonus points by using one or more specific song titles on you LO (it’s an Idol competition after all…). So. That’s where my title comes from. It’s my life. Gotta love some Bon Jovi, aye…
Enough rambling, I’m sure you understand how all this works (or you just don’t care…). My LO for the first Idol challenge looks like this:
I have scrapped this photo before, but I love it, and it’s rare to get the whole family in a photo… I am actually very happy with this LO. The colour combo is unusual for me, but I think the colours kinda helps tell my story if you know what I mean…
Thanks for stopping by, please leave a comment before you leave!!!

I’ve just posted my first challenge as a contributor over at The Sketchbook, you can check it out here!
This is my example LO:
I’m really into the b&w + one colour at the moment… 🙂
There’s a lot of cool challenges going on at The Sketchbook at the moment. Layle Koncar has set this month’s celebrity challenge. Layle is the Marketing Director for Scenic Route. She began scrapbooking 11 years ago with the birth of her first son and jumped at the chance 2 years ago to take on scrapbooking as a ‘real job’ after leaving a job running a software company. She’s been teaching for the last 4 years and truly enjoys connecting one on one with other scrapbookers and sharing her passion for the hobby. Her work has been published in Creating Keepsakes, Better Homes and Gardens Scrapbooks Etc., Memory Makers, Paper Crafts, Legacy, Scrapbook Trends and Paper Trends. She authored and contributed to the book Memory Art and is a regular contributor to Paper Crafts books and special issues.
The winner of her cool challenge will get some awesome stuff from Scenic Route. Worth playing for, no? The challenge ends on November 2nd.
Well, better go sort lunch for my girl… See ya soon!!
