The retreat is over

Does anyone know how long it takes to recover from a weekend full of laughing, talking, shopping, teaching, eating (mostly M&M’s), a little bit of creating and almost no sleep? I came  home around 2.30am on Monday, today is Thursday, and I still feel like I’ve been hit by a bus. I guess the fact that I have slept very little the last few weeks combined with a busload of deadlines might add some of the zombie state I’m in too.

I also got some time to see the beautiful Christchurch who showed off by being very hot and sunny, so I had a fantastic weekend!!!

Anyway, the Scrappin’ Patch retreat was a lot of fun, and I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone and anyone who was involved. Let’s do that again, shall we??

I wasn’t very productive, and most of what I did I can’t show, but I have ONE LO to share today. It’s made from a Pencil Lines sketch, using Prima. The photo is from our photo shoot with Positive Negatives in January:

Just because I felt I didn’t achieve much during the weekend, I counted the no of LO’s I’ve done so far this year. I was happily surprised to find I had done 60+ LO’s these last three months. Considering I have so many photos and events I want to preserve, this is great news to me.
