First share

After a WHOLE weekend of scrapping, I came home with 14 LO’s! Am very happy about that! Most of them are some sort of DT work, and I can’t show them today, but I have a couple that I can share with you!

This first LO is for the challenge over at Zest blog:

The papers, brad & sticker borders are all Pink Paislee, I’ve used an old book page as well. I have inked with Distress ink, & glimmermisted over some Tim Holtz masks. Rub ons are BoBunny, alphas are Prima & then there are misc buttons, some sewing & a chain on there as well. Does anyone know how old that photo of me might be???

Then, this LO is for the new weekly challenge over at the Sketchbook. The challenge is to scrap the “not so perfect photos”. I’m sure we ALL have them!

Have used the BG Eskimo Kisses papers & alphas, Prima flowers, BG brads & Webster’s alphas.

The last LO I can share is the one I did for the challenge pack we got over the weekend. It’s all BoBunny paper & Prima pearls, flowers & I also added some Prima alphas.

A short post

Just wanted to share the two LO’s I’ve done the last few nights, while feeling blah… They are for Australian challenge blogs.

 

 

Prima, Prima, Prima on this one, and als0 flowers form BoBunny & ZVA Creative, pearls from Kaisercraft, pins from Spotlight, and then I’ve used my Martha Stewart butterfly punch. Alphas are also Prima, and American Craft. I just LOVE that photo of  Tova!

 

 

 

Papers and alphas are Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses. Love the colours, and the fact that you don’t have to scrap Christmas photos with this range! Brads are also BG, some other range, and then there are some Prima flowers, misc charm & tags, and then some pearlmaker.

Blah

That’s how I feel today. I’ve got some sort of flu, and have had a really bad headache all day. So blah feels like a great heading for this post!

 

Still wanted to share my latest LO’s with you. There are new challenges up and I’ve got some examples!

 

For the new weekly challenge at the Sketchbook, I did this LO that says “serenity”/”calm”/”peacefulness”. This week it’s a sketch from Ruth:

 

 

 

I don’t normally like purple, but these papers and embellies from Glitz design just spoke to me. Together with Prima flowers, leaves and alphas the LO just works I think!!

 

Then, I got my LAST scraps out from Basic Grey Lime Rickey collection (you kow I loved that one!) and did a LO for the latest challenge over at Scrappin’ Patch - a Basic Grey challenge!!!

 

 

 

Cardstock is Bazzill & alphas are Scenic Route, everything else is Lime Rickey!

 

And then – I actually managed to do a LO for a challenge myself! This is for sketch #32 over at Inspired Blueprints:

 

 

 

Products used: Bazzill kraft cardstock, Pink Paislee Amber Road paper & embellies, Pink Paislee alphas. The butterflies are cut out with my new Martha Stewart butterfly punch!!!

First a LO that is one of the examples for the latest challenge at Scrappin’ Patch – the PRIMA challenge. Gotta love that…

 

 

Apart from the Maya Road pins, the Pink Pailsee alphas, the misc feathers and the blue Shimmerz on the roses, it’s ALL Prima!

 

And then, the new challenge over at the Sketchbook - make a double page! I don’t do it often, but it’s cool when it works!

 

 

 

Products used: Bazzill cardstock, Sassafras Lass & Jenni Bowlin patterned pp, Prima flowers, Robin’s Nest dewdrops, MME words, Jenni Bowlin, Heidi Swapp & AC alphas, misc butterflies. The title says “So, my dear Tova, how many times can  you jump in 15 minutes”.

Webster’s Pages

Lately, I’ve been using Webster’s Pages on a few LO’s. I was scared of cutting those GORGEOUS papers up before, but I think I’ve gotten over it. So – imagine my surprise and HAPPY DANCE when I found out I was featured with one of my LO’s in their gallery! I only joined the other day, so I was just SHOCKED! There are over 3,500 LO’s in their gallery, and MY PAGE was one of five to be featured this time. Soooo cool!

And, of course, I have a new LO using Wester’s Pages to share…

 

 

I’ve stuck a piece of my MIL’s old satin curtain and a dress pattern together with some PRIMA lace behind the photo. There are also ZVA creative flowers, Prima leaves, 2Crafty chipboard, Tim Holtz metal frame, misc charm & PRIMA alphas on the page.

Most of these product can be found in the  Scrappin’ Patch  shop as usual!

I have wanted to use these lyrics from my fav Gavin deGraw song on a LO forever. A discussion with my friend on Facebook (thanks Louise!) pushed me to do it. I’m very happy with the result!

Today while blog sufring, I came across a challenge over at the Lime Tart/Zest blog. Even though my “to do list” is miles long, I decided I NEEDED to do his challenge. Nutty? Who? Me?

 

Anyway, the deadline is tomorrow morning, so I ended up rushing it a bit, and didn’t manage to get a photo of the LO in daylight. So – sorry about the darkish, unfoused photo of the LO. I love this photo of my DH & Elsa though…

 

 

 

Products used: Bazzill cs, patterned pp from MME “Bohemia” and BG “Indian Summer”. Chipboard from Tattered Angels & Maya Road, inked & sprayed with glimmermist. Bling from Prima, tag from Pink Paislee, lace from Webster’s Pages, pins from Heidi Grace, misc brads & charm. The flower is handmade from fabric. Got the idea from siilar ones I got on Etsy.  Have also used some (a lot!!!) of  Tim Holtz distress ink “vintage photo” on my pp’s.

BLOGGIVERSARY!!!

Well believe it or not, but it’s already a YEAR ago since I moved to wordpress from blogg.se! And what a year it has been, both in my personal life and in regards to my wonderful hobby!

In this past year, this blog has had almost 9 000 visitors, and that just blows my mind! Not as many comments, but I am so HAPPY about every single comment I get. Especially since I’m quite bad at commenting myself!

This day started really good with a happy phonecall, followed by a happy email. Both scrap related, but of course I can’t tell you yet… Soooooo, I’m in a very HAPPY mood, and I’d like to share my joy with you with a giveaway! You know I LOVE giveaways!!

Crazy layout

OK. So here’s a crazy LO for you. All I can say is – I blame LILO! It’s totally her fault that all of this stuff is on the LO that says “you’re sitting nicely”.

 

 

Oh my…

…over a week since my last post. Not good is it… I’ve  been so busy, and I have had little or no sleep the last few nights as my baby Elsa is teething.

 

Anyway… There’s been moments of creativity almost every day, and for that I am grateful!

 

Here are my latest projects, and I warn you – there are a LOT of photos!!!

 

First off, some stuff I have done for Scrappin’ Patch - my favourite shop in the whole wide world!!! They have sooooo much new products in the shop at the moment, I’m loosing my mind!!! (and my DH’s hard earnt money…) At the moment they’re putting up NEW PRIMA stuff pretty much every day. But you better get in quick, they are selling it just as fast!!!

 

So. Like I said, time to share.

 

This first LO was a class kit that Scrappin’ Patch  provided to the lucky ladies attending their crop a couple of weeks ago. I have used one piece of cardstock, one piece of patterned paper from My Little Shoebox, one Green Tara flower, one journaling ticket from Jenni Bowlin, some pom pom ribbon from Bazzill, some buttons, the Fiskars “apron lace” border punch and a couple of different colours of glilmmermist. The title is cut out on my cricut.

 

 

Adrienne and Pauline also sent me half a Fancy Pants “Delight” journal book, some flowers, buttons and acetate. This is what I made from that – and I had SO MUCH FUN!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I added lots and lots of buttons from my own stack, some more flowers, got a bit crazy with my pearlmakers, also added some American Crafts ribbon, Peterlina and Prima stamps, Inkadinkado aplha stamps, alphas from Basic Grey and Carolee’s Creations. The album rings are Kaisercraft.

 

I can’t wait to get the book back and give it to my MIL. She’s gonna love it!

 

This next LO is for the latest sketch challenge over at Scrappin’ Patch , set by the lovely Heidi. Get over there to check out the other contributors examples. They rock!!!

 

 

 

 Products used: Jenni Bowlin die cut pp as base, patterned pp, embellies and chipboard letters are Basic Grey “Marrakesh”. The bling swirl is also BG. Have also used punchinella and Carolee’s Creations minialphas.

 

And then we have a couple of Lime Rickey LO’s – of course!!! I’m starting to run out of those papers though… On this first LO I have added a journaling thingie from Little Yellow Bicycle, isn’t it cool?? You can of course find it in the Scrappin’ Patch shop… The alphas are BG. And if you look closely, there’s some stiches there!!!

 

 This next LO is about a girl that is not mine. Therefore the blurred photo. She’s such a joy this girl, and this photo was perfect for the “joy” challenge at the OLW blog. Apart from the Lime Rickey I’ve used Pink Paislee alphas.

 

 On the next LO I used a couple of scrap papers (yay me!!). The pearl swirl and flower vine is of course Prima, the butterflies from 2Crafty are sprayed with glimmermist. The alphas are AC & Carolee’s creations, and then there’s some lace, buttos and AC ribbon too. Isn’t she sooooo cute on this photo my little Elsa??

 

 

OK, last one. Good job if you made it all the way here!! A very simple LO with Bazzill cs, and then pp’s and embellies from American craft. The alphas are also AC, and OCtober Afternoon.

 

 

Believe it or not, I actually have more to share, but not now. I’m far too tired now, and I’m sure you are too!!!

Half the year is gone…

…and a lot has happened in my life so far in 2009!!! New baby, new house – and everything that goes with that, new challenges in my scrapbooking world, lots! It has certainly been ups and downs in both departments, but that’s how it’s supposed to be, isn’t it?

Products used: Bazzill cs as base, and the leaves are cut out from an ebossed cs from Bazzill. Patterned pp from my scraps, butterfly from May Butler, Kaisercraft rhinestones, BG & AC alphas, and flowers from Prima. 

I also posted a challenge over at Scrappin’ Patch. The challenge is to use at least 4 layers and do 50+ words journaling. My example is my LO “unique” that is posted in the Cosmo Cricket post below!!
