I’ve done quite a lot lately. Especially considering the fact that crafting actually makes me really sore, and I should probably not do much… But it’s MY way of relaxing, and I know I’m preaching to the choir here…

 

So, I did some creating for the National Scrapbooking Day crop over at the Nook. 11 creations in total, but I won’t show them all at once. Here’s the one I was most happy with,  using Echo Park papers & a whole lot of random embellies, including a jean pocket:

Hi everyone!!

 

Hope you are doing well, wherever you are in the world. I am still struggling with shoulder pain, but have met a specialist that seem to be committed to helping me!

In other news, I have been selected to be on the FIRST EVER DT for a NEW company; Kite Tails Designs! I am so honoured and EXCITED about this, and can’t WAIT for the first box of goodies to turn up!

Bad news – my camera seem to be broken. My beautiful CANON is not doing what it supposed to do, and I will have to send it away next week. I feel slightly nauseaus and panicky about this, but hope they can fix the problem – QUICK!

I have been trying to tidy up my scrapping studio – with emphasis on the word TRYING. It’s not going well.  I have to get rid of some STUFF. Third time lucky?

This is the third time I’m writing this post. It’s gonna be significally shorter than my first draft, because I just want it posted! Nor sure what wordpress is up to, but it’s frustrating me!

I’m sorry for the lack of posting by the way. Family & work takes a lot of time as you all know, and my blogging is falling behind. Hoping it will be better soon.

Here is what I have created since my last post.

For ME, using Little Yellow Bicycle papers, both new and old collections:

Used some D-lish Scraps bling on this LO about my man as well.

Borrowed a hexagon die for this LO. Love it. Need my own now!!!

For D-lish Scraps, using washi tape, heart pins and the gorgeous heart cabachons. I also put it into Echo Parks “dots & stripes” comp, and came out as one of the winners. Very exciting!!

For Challenge Me Happy #20 – anything goes, using sponsored products from Scrappin’ Patch;

You’ve still got a week to get your creations in for that challenge, and it can’t get any easier than “Anything Goes”!!

How is it possible…

…that it’s 2 weeks since my last blog post? Time is TICKING away too fast for me at the moment!

 

So, while the girls are watching some bed-time TV, here’s a quick update from me.

 

For 2Crafty, I have done two LO’s that I REALLY love. Using gorgeous My Little Shoebox papers on this first LO, and my fav range from Crate Paper (Random) on the second one. On the second one I have also used washi tape from D-Lish Scraps!

Busy bee

Oh my goodness I have been busy lately. Both privately & scrap wise. Work is nuts, and sleep hasn’t really happened lately.

BUT – I have been creative. My oh my, have I ever. Some of it I can share, some of it will have to wait. So – without further ado – sharing it is!! But I’m warning you – I am sort of scraplifting myself at the moment. I have found a concept I love, and I’m following it every time I start creating something new. Is that bad??

Well hello

Hi blog. Yes I remember you. It’s been too long, I know – but at least I’m here now!

 

First, I’d lke to share with you my latest DT news – I’ve joined the amazing team over at 2Crafty! They make a fantastic range of chipboard, and the rest of the team is incredibly talanted. My first project will go up on the blog next week, so make sure you make a visit! “Like” them on Facebook too, at the moment they are only a few “likers” away for a giveaway!

 

On the Challenge Me Happy Facebook page, we are also only a couple of “likers” away from a giveaway. Have you “liked” us yet?

 

Our last challenge at Challenge Me Happy - you still have a few days to enter – is a word challenge. The word is “NEW”, and here is my take; using Pink Paislee goodies from Scrappin’ Patch!

 

 

I’ve also kept up with the New Year’s Crop over at the Nook. Here’s a LO that was for a scraplift – of myself! I lifted my “My Man“ LO, and this is what I did:

 

 

I also created my FIRST EVER TAG for the crop, and I used a couple of D-Lish resin roses on it. They are delish for sure! My tag was actually featured on the Nook blog, and chosen as the weekly feature on the Nook message board. Who’d have thought?!?!?

 

 

OK. I think that’s it.  I am working on something for EVERY team I am on at the moment (plus some challenges), so should have a few things to show you soon again, That’s if I can remember to blog about it…

Hello 2012

Hope you have all had a great start to the new year! I started the year scrapping with my friends, a wonderful way to start a new year don’t you agree?

 

I managed to get two LO’s done, in between all the chatting and having lunch. I can show you one of them today, a LO for a Studio Calico sketch!

 

 

Today, I’d also like to share my LO for the latest Challenge Me Happy challenge, a Trina McClune lift. I was a  bit intimidated by this – but the products that I got from Scrappin’ Patch sure helped me along!

 

I’ve also got some cards to share, but promised my girls to do some baking – so off to do that now. Thanks for stopping by, hope that you stick around for all of 2012!

A lot of STUFF to share

This is what happens when you don’t blog very often. You have LOADS to share… Like everyone else, I have a busy life at this time of year, and the blog gets forgotten. So – brace yourself for a photo heavy post. Thanks to those who makes it through all of it!!

First – a very cool idea that I snatched from Debbie’s blog – a wreath for Tova’s teacher. She put the crayons on, I made the flowers with fabric – DONE! We’re very happy with the result!

My LO for the latest Challenge Me Happy prompt – a coulour challenge! I used the Echo Park “Times & Seasons” line for this.

And while we’re on the FAMILY subject – my last LO for Scottie Crafts, using Simple Stories. It’s actually my last LO ever for them. My term is up… Thank you to Adrienne and team for this past year, you are all such amazing people!

OK, what else – yes of course! The Nook Card Sharks comp is still going strong. I could not BELIEVE it when I saw my name on the list - I am still in it! But it get’s harder – and from the weekend ahead of us – the public has a big part of the voting. So if you like my cards - I would love for you to vote when the time comes!!! No pressure though!! 1st of the month reveal

SO it’s my birthday month! YAY!!! Won’t celebrate all month though, but got a few fun things planned. Lucky me!!

 

Today is the first day of the month, which means a new challenge is up at Challenge Me Happy! Our new designers have their fist challenge LO up, and all the “old” designers have of course joined them. It’s an AWESOME challenge and a FANTASTIC reveal!! This is my take, but PLEASE go and check all the other inspiration out. And participate – it’s the easiest challenge we’ve had so far!! There’s also a fantastic kit from Mollys Scrapbooking to be won. Yay!!

 

 

I was lucky enough to get sponsored materil from Scrappin’ Patch this month. This is paper & acetate frame from the “Summer’s End” colletion from Fancy Pants. I have to say I struggled a little with the acetate (frame), but finally did something I am quite happy about! I love the soft colours in this collection, together with the orange & bright green!

 

Then – Handmade Halo has their first ever challenge up. A lovely sketch by the talented Em Stafrace. This is my BRIGHT take on the sketch, using Halo goodies:

 

 

 

 

I love this photo of Elsa. It catches her stubborn and independent personality perfectly. She definately goes her own way already…
