Changes

There are a lot of changes happening in our house. Our baby Elsa (almost 9 months) has moved to her own room, and so far it seems she’s sleeping a lot better. This means I’m sleeping better – and more – and that must be good!!! Our big girl Tova (who seems to grow up right in front of my eyes) is not having her bedtime bottle anymore, goes to the toilet without any assistance, and says “I love you mamma” without me having to say “I love you” first. I guess it’s safe to say she’s not a baby anymore…

 

So. Yes. Things are changing. I think I have to change a few things in my life as well, but being older it seems a little bit harder for some reason!!! The fact that we now have dalight savings seem to have some sort of inpact on me, I just need to figure out how and why…

 

Right, enough rambling. That’s not why you’re here!   Let’s get down to business!!

 

First, I’d like to proudly present my friend from forever; ANNA, who I have recently tricked into this wonderfully addictive hobby. She went shopping the other day, and then sat down to create her first LO. Check it out on her blog, it’s FABUOLUS! I cannot believe this is her first one! My first one did definately not look that good… I’m proud of you my friend!!!

 

Then, time to share my latest stuff.

 

First a LO for SWE Scrapbook, for the new sketch challenge that’s up today:

 

 

 

Products used: Kaisercraft pp, Magdas flowers, Robin’s Nest dewdrops, & alphas are Jenni Bowlin & Carolee’s Creations.

 

Then, a LO that I did from a sketch by this talended Swedish lady:

 

 

 

This is one of the three LO’s I did at the crop I went to on Saturday. Well. I almost finished them there, just added titles and stuff at home…

 

On this LO I have used a Bazzill craft cardstock, papers and embellies are October Afternoon, alphas are Ocotober Afternoon & Pink Paislee. Am very happy with this LO actually…

 

And then, a LO “just because”. Not many of those getting done nowadays, huh… A LO full of Jillibean Soup stuff – looooooooooove their products!!!

 

 

 

As you know, I get most of my stuff from Scrappin’ Patch. Just thought I’d mention it again… I posted a short tutorial on the forum today, to make a very simple, but cool card. Go check it out!

 

I have also made a LO for one of Liz’ challenges that goes up today, but I’ll wait to share ’til she’s posted it on the forum… I’ve also got a sneaky peak to share, for a kit that will be sold at Scrappin’ Patch very soooooo. But I’ll share that another day…

Pose

Today I have a new LO up on the Swe scrapbook blog. I’ve used the looooooovely new Pink Paislee “Amber Road” pp’s and embellies, together with Prima swirls & AC thickers. You can find most of these at Scrappin’ Patch.

 

The challenge today is to choose one of your own LO’s, draw a sketch based on that LO, and then create new LO from that sketch! Doesn’t that sound like fun???

 

The LO I chose was this one, full of Lime Rickey goodness…

Stuff to share

New challenges are up my friends!!!

 

First, Heidi has set a cool colour challenge @ Scrappin’ Patch; brown/teal/orange. PERFECT for the new Gypsy pp’s from BoBunny:

 

 

 

Add some BG alphas, a Pink Paislee butterfly, some Pearlmaker and a fat lady in the photo, and you’re done!!!

 

 

Then, I just posted the last SPRING IT ON challenge @ the Sketchbook messageboard. This is my example:

 

 

 

Products used:  Cosmo Cricket “Earth Love” pp’s and embellies, MM ribbon, Jenni Bowlin & AC alphas.

 

I really, really like these new Cosmo Cricket pp’s, and was HAPPY when Adrienne & Pauline wanted me to do a DT page for Scrappin’ Patch. This is the result:

 

 

 

So, what’s the full story you ask? Well, I’ve decided to donate eggs to my girlfriend who has tried to get pregnant for about 7 years. I’m writing in a diary about this, and when the journey is over I will print it out and put on the back of the LO. If a child comes out of this, both that child and my children have the possibility to read about my thoughts during this process.

 

Apart from the Cosmo pp’s and embellies, I have used chipboard from 2Crafty, Robin’s Nest dewdrops, Tim Holtz tickets, and alphas from AC & Pink Paislee. I have also used a SU slit punch on one of the paper strips.

 

Almost all of the stuff I use to creat with nowadays, can be found @  Scrappin’ Patch. Apart from great supplies they also have  AMAZING service, and I’m not just saying that. You can trust me on this!!!

OK. So here’s a crazy LO for you. All I can say is – I blame LILO! It’s totally her fault that all of this stuff is on the LO that says “you’re sitting nicely”.

 

 

SWE share

On Monday, my FIRST LO was posted on the SWE Scrapbook blog, and today the second one. It’s soooooo cool to see my work up there, together with the other awsome girls creations. That place just ooooozzzzezzz of inspiration and talent, you can almost taste it!!

 

This LO is for a sketch challenge, and the title says “un-impressed”:

 

 

 

Products used; paper from Sassafras Lass, Jenni Bowlin & Pebbles, embellies from Sassafras Lass & flowers from Prima. The alphas are Carolee’s Creations and Heidi Swapp.

 

This next LO, that you can find on the blog today, is a for a scraplift challenge. You’re supposed to lift one of your OWN LO’s! It’s hard! I chose to lift my LO “eleven words“, and this is the result:

 

 

 

The title on this one says “aunty Godmother”, and apart from the  buttons & BG alphas it’s ALL BoBunny yummies on there!!

I love my hobby

And I love this LO. And I’m allowed to say so, because it’s my blog!!!

 

It took me 15 minutes to complete this LO, because the recipe from Ruth was so great! It’s my example for this weeks Spring it on challenge at the Sketchbook.

New sketch challenge up

There’s a new sketch challenge up at Scrappin’ Patch. A very cool one set by Liz! This is my example, full of October Afternoon goodies, a chipboard tree from 2Crafty, SCenic Route alphas, flower from Etsy, some glimmermist & paint, & rub-on owls from Hambly:

 

 

 

Haven’t had much time for scrapping lately with two sick girls and a birthday party to organise. Tova turned THREE yesterday! The party went well though, and today we are all relaxing and playing with Tova’s presents…

The pp’s on this LO are Upsy Daisy. I did it for their DT call, but as I didn’t manage to complete my other two projects for them I never applied. Ah well. Maybe next time! Before I hit the sack…

… I’d like to share a couple of LO’s with you. Because I said I would!

 

 

First, a LO for the second SPRING IT ON challenge over at the Sketchbook. The LO is made from a sketch from this talented Swedish girl.  The title says “hair”, and I’ve used BoBunny pp’s and embellies, a BG brad & Collage Press alphas on the LO.

 

 

 

 

Then the LO for the new prodct challenge over at Scrappin’ Patch. I set the challenge this time, and it’s all about using your Bazzill. ONLY your Bazzill in fact.

 

 

 

 

Products used: Bazzill swiss dotted cs “salt” attacked with blue ink & blue glimmer mist. Used my traced butterfly (from a Pink Pailsee chipboard) as a mask, filled it with a little bit of green ink. Drew the swirly thing myself, stamped with a script stamp, again with blue ink. Journaling & title done with a black pen.

I am SO honoured to say I am now part of the DT @ one of the most popular (if not THE MOST popular) challenge blog in Sweden; Swe Scrapbook. They had a DT call a couple of weeks ago, and I almost fell off my chair when I got the email welcoming me to their team! The talant on that team is just extraordinary. It’ a big team, because there’s a new challenge set EVERY DAY! Even if you don’t understand Swedish, or don’t want to particpate in challenges, just go there for inspiration. There’s a truck load of that every day!!! My presentation will be up in a couple of days, and my first challenge example in about a wekk. But don’t worry, you won’t miss it. I won’t let you!!!

Well, I just had to share that with y’all… To not leave this post photo free; here’s a VERY simple LO that I have done for a challenge on a Swedish blog. The challenge was to use black/white and one other colour. FOr some reason I chose purple that I almost NEVER use!
