1st of September = first day of spring in NZ! And that’s soon! Yahooo!!! Hopfully the weather will agree with this whole change of season thing…

“You right now” for a colour challenge over at Scrappin’ Patch. Products used: dotty pp from MME, some Bazzill cs & some scrap pp. Bazzill pom pom ribbon, Robin’s Nest dewdrops, misc flower & button. Have put kindyglitz on the AC thickers. The fabulous leaves are from one of Neen’s mini kit’s.

 

The next LO is also for Scrappin’ Patch. They sent me a very cool chipboard title from 2Crafty to do something with. This is what I did:

 

 

 

 

The 2Crafty chipboard title has been used in three different ways; the guitar is covered in paper, then I stuck a “lip” sticker from AC on there. The wire & word ROCK has been painted black, the word STAR is covered withPearlmaker. Other products used; pp & stars from MME, Bazzill cs, rub-ons from Glitz design & pins from Spotlight. Alphas from Jenni Bowlin.

 

Then, the last LO for tonight (I’ve been writing this post since 11am, and just really want to get it posted!) is for this weeks challenge at the Sketchbook (deadline at midnight tonight). I’ve used a sketch from A Million Little Things:

 

 

 

Again, I’ve used pp’s from MME. Flowers are Zva Creative, leaves and ribbon from Prima, MM sticker and pin from Spotlight. The alphas are AC & Carolee’s Creations.

So…

…it seems the new Scrapbooking magazine “Innovations” has problems. Whatever the reason, I think this is really sad. I had one LO published in issue 2, and two accepted for issue 3. I had also submitted another LO for a later issue. I’ve decided to share all of these LO’s now.

 

 

 

Have used mostly Jenni Bowlin pp’s and embellies on this one. The ribbon is Prima, the flowers are Maya Road and the bling is ZVA Create.

 

 

On this LO I have used MME & Kaisercraft pp’s, Prima flowers, bling & bird stamp, Pearlmaker & some other misc stuff. Alphas are CArolee’s Creations and AC.

 

This next LO is a double in one… Have used my Zutter BIA to make a second page.

 

 

 

 

 Papers are Bazzill and Little Yellow Bicycle, flowers and bling are of course Prima. The alphas are AC & Pink Paislee.

 

I was really looking forward seeing my stuff in print, but what can I do…

There’s a new multi photo challenge up at Scrappin’ Patch, and this is my example. A double 8,5×11″ for my Sweden album:

 

 

 

Products used: Bazzill swiss dotted cs, October Afternoon pp’s, alphas and embellies, flower swirl from Green Tara. It’s a two week challenge so there’s plenty of time to get over there and play along!

 

Right. I have a long to-do list, so better get going. Oh. And there’s children to feed and play with too!!

Mr Mojo

He is still hanging around. He must be paying visits to your house now and then though, because he pops in and out at the moment. But I welcome him when he visits, and I treat him as nice as possible!!!

I have so few photos of me and hubby together. This one is from my birthday last year. I was pregnant, so that’s why the title is what it is. Just to make sure you don’t think I’m preggers again!!!!!

The good, the bad and the ugly

The good: Mr Mojo has been doing short visits to my scrap studio.   I have hopes he will come for a longer visit soon!!!

 

The bad: the head honcho at the Swedish challenge blog Liftvarning, where I was lucky enough to be CT member, have decided to not continue with the site. It’s a real shame, and I’m really sad about this. Her reasons are all understandable, but it doesn’t make it less sad. If I had more hours in the day, I would take over, but it’s not really something I can do right now.

 

The ugly: my house. It’s such a mess!! The last few days I’ve been concentrating on my sick little baby, and have put all the chores on the back burner. I know I’ve done the right thing, but man!! The house looks like it’s been hit by a tornado!!! After another doctors visit with Elsa today, I have hopes that she’ll be better soon, and that will hopefully mean I’ll find some time to do some cleaning. Not that I want to IYKWIM, but it needs to be done. Ugly I tell ya!!!

 

OK, so I have some LO’s to show you. In my last post I totally forgot to show the last creations I did with my last kit from Scrappin’ Patch. So here they are now:

 

 

 

Products used: Prima paper stack “Sasha” pp’s, Bazzill cs, butterflies are Bazzill just the edge that I’ve cut out, and I’ve sprayed them with glimmermist. Then some twine, Heidi Swapp pin, Carolee’s Creations and BG alphas.

 

 

I also made two cards with the scraps I had left:

 

 

 

 

With my kit also came ONE pp from Basic Grey’s Lime Rickey collection. You know how much I love Lime Rickey, so was happy about that!! I added some Bazzill cs, a Prima flower, some Lime Rickey chipboard and BG alphas.

 

 

 

 

All the DT girls @ Scrappin’ Patch got a little parcel last week, containing some Prima leaves and some Robin’s Nest dewdrops. This is how I used mine:

 

 

 

Other products used: I sprayed some glimmermist on a Bazzill swiss dotted cs, and cut out the clouds, the frame is MME, the cherries are October afternoon. I made a fabric button with a Prima stamp, and the alphas are AC thickers and Webster’s Pages.

 

The title says “Safe with mum”, and the journaling is about how we when the photo was taken were oblivious about what was going to happen the next day – going to Starship hospital and staying there for three days. Not a happy memory, but an important one!

 

Then, a LO for the latest weekly challenge over at the Sketchbook, set by me!! The challenge is to use products from two manufacturers only. I have used Cosmo Cricket pp’s and embellies, and AC thickers. The title says “peek-a-boo!”.

 

 

 

 

Then, a LO with my new favourite photo :

 

 

 

 

Products used: Bazzill kraft cs, Prima & Bo Bunny patterned pp, Collage Press journaling spot, Kaisercraft pearls, Prima flower, MM pins, twine, Prima packaging, butterfly and leaves made of cardboard, MME word and Carolee’s Creations and AC alphas.

My mojo is gone…

I have been trying to create the last couple of nights, but have had NO success. My mojo is just gone. Hopefully it’s temporary, ’cause I will slightly fade away without it!!!

 

The fact that I have the flu, and that the girls are still a bit under the weather might have something to do with it, but whatever the reason – I’d like to get my mojo back please!!!

 

Lucky for you I still have stuff to share…

 

First, my LO for the new shabby chic challenge over at Scrappin’ Patch. This is my favourite LO in a long time. Actually, now that I think about it, my mojo disappeared as soon as I finished this one… Hmmmm…

 

 

 

 

I used a pizzabox lid as a base for the LO, painted some white acrylic paint on it and inked the edges. Other products; pp from 7Gypsies, Prima flower vine, Zva Creative rosebuds, Melissa Francis resin, BG & Carolee’s Creations alphas, BG rub-on, misc lace, tag, tape measure & ribbon. The hanger and pegs was in a Tarisota kit I bought almost a year ago.

 

For Delys’ recipe challenge, also at Scrappin’ Patch, I did this LO about Tova’s last day at her previous daycare:

 

 

 

 

Products used: Fancy Pants kraft die-cut pp, a piece of my old jeans and some lace, Potty People chipboard from Magistical Memories painted with acrylic paint, 7Gypsies journaling tag, tree cut out on cricut, buttons, Nic Howard word stamps and alphas from AC. Am actually quite happy with this LO too…

New look + new challenge over at Scrap the girls!

It’s a new month = new challenge over at Scrap the girls. The new lovely boss Kayla has done a little faclift on the blog, look at this gorgeous thing:

I’ve used Bazzill cardstock, October Afternoon pp’s, journaling spot and “words”. Rub-ons from Hambly & Basic Grey, alphas from BG & Pink Paislee. Don’t know what brand that puffy heart is…

 

Next, some more LO’s I’ve done for Scrappin’ Patch. First, a LO for my Sweden album. (Yes, I am still working on that one – one year later…) It’s my gorgeous sister in the photo, and the title says “aunty, sister, friend”. Apart from the Prima papers, I’ve used MM ribbon, Love you more brads, Bazzill swiss dotted cs, Pink Paislee alphas & a black journaling pen.

 

 

 

 

While in Swedish mode, I created a simple Christmas page with the title “Christmas presents”. With a Bazzill Kraft cs as a base, I used scraps from the Prima papers together with twine to make the banner, and added lots of buttons. Pink Paislee alphas for the title again, and also some Carolee’s Creations mini alphas.

 

 

 

 

And – believe it or not – there’s more to come from this kit!!

 

I’d like to finish the post with the project I did for the new Designers choice challenge over at Scrappin’ Patch. The challenge is to make a doorhanger – that’s it! This is mine:

 

 

 

Once again, I’ve used October afternoon paper and embellies. I also added some tulle, a charm, AC thickers, alpha stamps from Inkadinkado, and I putsome dimensional magic to that bee. Oh, and some pearlmaker too in the right corner…
